I must have beat myself up while sleeping. I woke up this afternoon with pulled calve muscles, pulled lower back muscles, a sore arm, and rather bad feeling knuckles (though the latter is probably from punching the wall after getting hardware troubles with some new shit for my PC)

aside from the self mutilation, my cataract op seems to be fully healed now, having been done a month ago and with the course of steroid eye drops finished off. I still need to get laser surgery done I think (still some remnants of the cataract on the lens capsule in my eye) but my other eye isn't going to go under the knife for a while yet. Apparently my surgeon thinks it's a good idea to "let (me) cope with the one cataract for a while", though that while in hospital time is probably going to be another 3-6 months (I asked my doctor before xmas last year to get my surgery done asap and it took till May to get the op done FFS).

Last up, I should have some new art up soon-ish. I dished out the cash for some new glasses since my last ones went AWOL, so now I can see what the hell I'm drawing (my lens implant can't adjust its focus so my close range vision is shit).

oh yeah, it's fucking cold now too. damn winter makes being awake thought the night a pain in the ass.
